Splash and Snow

In this video, we were wheeling in 3 different locations in 3 different days. First area is the Jan 1st, 2014 wheeling in East Harrison. We were having fun in the water. Making some splashes. The second area was Stave lake area up Slyvester Road. This old sunken forest looks very spooky. Having it covered with snow was even spookier. The third area is Eagle Mountain. This trail is hard enough without snow. It was harder with snow. I got stuck once and had to winch myself out. Dave didnt get stuck at all. We both made it to lookout.

Eagle Short Trip

Last weekend we were at Eagle Mountain, British Columbia. We started the trail in the afternoon and only went as far as snow line. We checked the washed away bridge and logs and tried to guess if it was possible to go across 🙂 On the way back we decided to take a look at the second look out. I have never been to that part of Eagle Mountain. Only a few minutes later we discovered that there lots dead fall on the trail. It was already 4 PM and we decided to head back. At the end of the trail, where we call gate keeper, I blew a bead on my left front wheel. Luckily the position of the jeep was good and with the help of James’s 60″ hi-lift we were able to lift my jeep enough to put the spare tire on. We also had to secure the jeep from left side to a tree and from to James’s jeep. So it was a great wheeling day 🙂

Snow Wheeling

This is the video of our 3 runs over 3 days. We started on January 1, 2013 in West Harrison area. On 3rd we went to Eagle mountain and on 6th we were on Britannia FSR. We had plenty of snow. I broke my steering stabilizer on Eagle mountain. Britannia FSR was full with fresh snow. We had to some logging but hey! this is how we maintain our access to our back country 🙂

We went up the Mamquam River FSR last weekend. It wasn’t a technical ride but the scenery was well worth. We also had a couple in their 2012 new JK Rubicon. It was the first time they took their jeep offroad. I hope they liked it. My jeep is a lot of fun after the mods but I sometimes miss the stock form of my jeep when I see other shiny stock jeeps 🙂

Eagle Mountain

This is our trip to Eagle Mountain. It is one of my favorite wheeling trails. The trail is non stop rock crawling all the way to the top. At the top there is a lookout with beautiful views of Vancouver and North Shore Mountains. There is also a big rock at the back of the lookout where you could take your jeep on top. You definitely need spotters there not to drive off the rock into a 40 feet drop.

This is the second part of Snow Jeep movie. This is our trip to Eagle Mountain and Furry Creek FSR. Lower sections didnt have snow but upper parts were packed. It was a awesome day for snow wheeling and to try some different angle shots.
